Adverse Childhood Experiences: Translating Evidence into Action
When: Saturday, April 14 • 1–2:30 p.m.
Where: L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library, Eau Claire Room
Decades of research have shown that adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), including abuse, neglect, and household dysfunction, are among the strongest environmental predictors of poor mental and physical health. Yet, knowledge of how to translate insights into action is remarkably limited. This program will summarize the science of ACEs to explore how to translate the evidence into practices and policies that promote health and well-being.
